You'll be commercially responsible for a large portfolio of smaller accounts - nurturing, expanding, and reactivating them through a mix of data-driven processes and proactive sales activity.You'll balance inbound qualification, outbound prospecting, closing deals and account growth, ensuring that every client, experiences the value of Appinio's real-time insights platform. Acting as the growth engine for your segment, you'll combine structured execution with a curious, consultative mindset to turn opportunities into long-term relationships.What you'll be doingTake commercial ownership of a diverse portfolio of smaller and lower-tier accounts, ensuring consistent growth and retentionManage and convert inbound leads into active, long-term customers through consultative engagementProactively build a high-quality outbound pipeline, identifying and approaching new prospects within your target marketDrive renewals, reactivations, and upsells across your account base, leveraging automation, data, and scaled communication tacticsAnalyse account performance, pipeline health, and funnel metrics to guide your strategy and improve conversionCollaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Research team to deliver a best-in-class customer experienceMaintain organised, data-backed account management processes — ensuring visibility, prioritisation, and accountability in all activitiesYou will thrive in this role ifYou have 3+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or SDR roles, including at least 2 years of full-cycle sales experienceYou bring experience in market research or data-centric organisations and understand how to translate insights into valueYou're a hungry, proactive hunter who enjoys taking ownership of your pipeline and driving resultsYou have a consultative, empathetic mindset, skilled at understanding client needs and building meaningful relationshipsYou're organised, analytical, and data-driven, using structure and insights to guide decisions and improve performanceYou're naturally curious, coachable, and eager to learn, always looking to grow your commercial skillsYou thrive in a collaborative, international environment, contributing to shared goals and an open feedback cultureYou are fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)You are based in Germany, Ideally HamburgWhat's in it for you?Flexibility Policy - Our flexibility policy means there is no hard cap on the number of vacation days you can takeTemporary work from abroad - If you're based in the EU, you can work outside your country of residence for up to 180 days per yearAll the hardware you need and your own MacBookIf you are located in Hamburg or Berlin, you'll get a Deutschland ticket or access to a mobility budget with the NAVIT app to get you to and from the office spaceIf you are located in Germany or Spain, you will have access to a Subsidised Urban Sports Club membershipIn case you're located in one of the cities where most of our fellow Appinioneers are (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, or New York), you can get access to our Co-working spacesKind reminder: Please ensure that your application is submitted in English.This post not only outlines our ideal candidate but also serves as an inspiration for what this role can evolve into.
