Job Description:The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and accounting activities of a company. This role involves managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in strategic financial decision-making and contributes to the overall success of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Financial Record Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Record financial transactions, including income and expenses, in the company's accounting software.Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data.Financial Reporting:Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.Budgeting and Forecasting:Collaborate with other departments to create and manage the annual budget.Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.Assist in the development of financial forecasts.Cash Management:Manage cash flow by monitoring receivables and payables.Implement strategies to optimize cash resources.Work with banks and financial institutions to meet the company's financial needs.Compliance and Regulation:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial requirements.Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the audit process.Stay informed about changes in financial regulations that may impact the company.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor the accounting team.Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.Financial Strategy:Collaborate with executive management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's goals.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.Vendor and Client Relations:Manage relationships with key vendors and clients regarding financial transactions and negotiations.Resolve financial-related issues with external parties.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration.Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.The Accounts Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the financial stability of the organization and contributes to its long-term success.
