We are Black & female-founded youth culture ADVERTISING AGENCY and content studio. We design advertising for global, diverse audiences, and have a research and insights division. We are looking for an experienced Account & Project Manager to work for the full life cycle of our client work: new business pitch, scope, plan, execute, and deliver creative across workflows and assist in client services and account management.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGClient & Project ManagementOversee, manage and communicate the status of deliverables across multiple integrated work streamsFoster client relationships as primary point of contact; write client reports; communicate client agendas to staffCreate and define scopes, build estimates, budgets and SOWs; ensure clients align with SOW and protect against scope creepRespond to client briefs with excellent verbal and written communication skillsSchedule and attend internal meetings, communicate next steps, and assign ownership of tasksAttend client meetings to understand feedback, next steps and project implicationsProduction & Creative ManagementOversee and manage account managers, project managers, creative team members, creators and freelancersTrack creative and production teams to ensure all projects are on track and meet deadlinesOversee post-production of video assets: contact editors, track footage/edits/notes, ensure Creative team receives cuts for review and responds timelyReview creative deliverables from creative team to ensure alignment with client needsProject-manage and production-manage all video, still and graphic design assets for clientsLead creative review and approval meetings; control quality of deliverables to ensure best in class workSystems & OperationsUse project management tools to author and maintain project schedules, project briefs, cost estimates, budgets and other relevant project documentation with team inputAssess, track and assign deadlines through all phases of workSupport delivery of larger media projects and/or own smaller media projects with oversightProactively communicate and manage hours, tasks and timelines with integrated team members to keep work moving within time and budget constraintsPartner with Executive team to manage staff plans and project future staffing requirementsNew Business DevelopmentCollaborate and help drive new business efforts by attending all necessary biz dev meetingsDevelop RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and pitch decksParticipate in meetings and brainstorm new business tacticsPrepare and participate in new business presentations and pitchesParticipate in new business outreachAdditional ResponsibilitiesHelp with internal projects including Adolescent Social, podcasts, insight reports and newslettersMeet with other team to ensure all projects are completedBalance a sense of urgency with calm and confidence at all timesAdditional responsibilities within client services, project management, account management and new business division as neededSKILLSKnowledge of video production from prep to post; experience overseeing multiple video crewsA problem solver with a dual-track mind who understands the bigger picture and the necessary steps to get thereAn instinctive troubleshooter who is always looking to optimize workflows and unlock new efficienciesMaintain calm and focus amid tight deadlines; able to pivot at a moment's noticeExpert project management skills; experience with PM tools (Teamwork, Trello, Asana)Strong organizational and communication skillsUnderstanding of creative and production processesGood working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Suite, Keynote, and SlackExcellent oral and written communication skillsPositive and inspiring team player with a passion for the workExcellent client services skillsAdapt in Asana and other PM toolsFluent English speaker and writerEXPERIENCEMinimum 5+ years of experience in an advertising agency role in account & project management required.
