Account Receivable Analyst (1 Year Contract)

Job descriptionWe are partnering with a well-established multinational retail brand to hire an Account Receivable Analyst. This role supports the Retail Accounting team with month-end activities and plays a key part in ensuring compliance with Malaysia’s E-Invoicing regulations.This is a contract role with an immediate start preferred, ideal for candidates who are eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What makes this opportunity unique — it offers a highly flexible hybrid arrangement, where you’ll be working remotely most of the time (around 80%) and only required to attend the office once or twice a month for essential meetings or reporting duties.Key Responsibilities:Handle a full range of Accounting and Controlling activities, with strong focus on Retail Accounting (Account Receivable)Execute monthly closing tasks accurately and on schedule.Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules and account reconciliations via Blackline.Coordinate and support the annual statutory audit process with external auditors.Contribute to process enhancement initiatives and cross-functional projects.Ensure strict adherence to SOX compliance and internal company policies.Requirements:Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1–2 years of working experience in Accounting, Finance, or Tax, preferably in a multinational environmentPreferably 1-2 years in Account Receivable would be desiredProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAble to multitask and work effectively in a team setting
