About us:The Barrick Group is a diverse conglomerate with operations spanning F&B, Retail, HORECA brand management and distribution, food commodities trading, ecommerce and manufacturing. While the GCC remains our primary market, we have also expanded our operations to our home base in Canada..Accountant will be responsible for overseeing costing, manufacturing accounting, general accounting, and system implementation activities. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports management in cost analysis and decision-making, and plays a key role in ERP system enhancement and automation initiatives..Costing & Manufacturing Accounts:Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costing and variance reports for manufacturing operations.Monitor production costs, overheads, and inventory valuation to ensure accurate cost allocation.Support management in product pricing, cost control, and margin analysis.Conduct periodic reviews of Bill of Materials (BOMs), production processes, and cost structures. General Accounting & Reporting:Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support budgeting and forecasting activities.Assist in year-end audits and coordination with external auditors.Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Bank, Inventory). System Implementation & Process Improvement:Provide support in Microsoft Dynamics or LS Central implementation, configuration, and testing.Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance system efficiency and reporting accuracy.Train and support finance and operations teams in system usage and best practices.System Knowledge: Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or LS Central (implementation or support). Experience and Skills: 5+ years of experience, Minimum 5+ years in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in manufacturing costing.Experience in ERP data migration or financial module setup.Knowledge of inventory control, supply chain, and production planning processes.Exposure to process automation and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Strategic thinking & commercial acumen Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Business,  MCom, BCom, CA Inter, CMA, ACCAPlease apply only if you meet the following criteria.
