Accountant (Chinses Speaker)

The Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical accounting background, experience in international or large-scale organizations, and bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, cross-border business setting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Perform general ledger reconciliation, accruals, and journal entries.Review and sign-off on complex advisory reports, tax assessments, entity structuring, and due diligence reports.Business Development & Market ExpansionHandle invoices, payments, and receipts; ensure proper documentation and authorization.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on outstanding payments.Support treasury functions and cash flow forecasting.Tax & Compliance Support corporate tax, VAT filings, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant government authorities as required.Internal Controls & Financial AnalysisImplement and maintain internal accounting controls and financial procedures.Conduct variance analysis, expense tracking, and provide insights to management for decision-making.Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.Cross-Functional & Multilingual CommunicationCollaborate with Chinese-speaking management, clients, and partners to ensure smooth financial coordination.Translate or interpret financial documents and communication as needed (Chinese–English).Required Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,or related field. Professional Certifications: Mandatory – CA / CPA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent.Experience:Minimum 3–4 years of professional accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).Prior experience in Big Four firms or large multinational corporations is highly desirable.Solid understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and corporate tax.Skills & Attributes:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle).Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.Language:Fluency in English and working proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) are mandatory
