ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements and any other financial reports on a regular basisManage the preparation of company's budget and establish reasons for variancesWork closely with the project teams to ensure accurate and timely collection and monitoring of cost estimates and prepare and analyze project costing and variancesHandle financial reporting, banking & treasury, tax, GST, audit, corporate secretarial matters and government and statutory reporting.Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting policies and work processes, and make recommendations for improvementAssist in the oversight of Finance DepartmentAssist with any special projects/assignments/any other ad hoc dutiesRequirementsDegree in Accountancy/ACCA/Chartered Accountant/CPAAt least 5 years' experience in handling the above functions and full set of accounts in commercial sectorGood knowledge in Corporate Tax, Financial Reporting Standards, GST and Tax LawsHands-on experience in project costing and accounts consolidation will be an advantageStrong organizational skills, attentive to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a multitasking environmentStrong leadership, effective team player, highly motivated and able to work independentlyHands-on experience with SAP (R3) is preferred
