Accountant

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions. Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial reports. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports. Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payment of vendors and statutory obligations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal financial policies. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions. Support automation and improvement of financial reporting and reconciliation processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, and Product) for financial insights and decision-making. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related finance role (experience in fintech, banking, or payment industry is an advantage). Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
