You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and drive profitability.Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and decision-making process within the ESS business unit. You will report directly to our Finance Manager and you'll work out of our Chonburi, Thailand location. In this role, you will impact the financial performance and growth of the ESS business unit by providing valuable insights and recommendations based on your financial analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies, optimize resource allocation, and drive cost-saving initiatives."In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.”Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end closing responsibilities including preparing journal entries, ensuring monthly transactions are correctly recorded, analyzing, and reporting spend, production creditsReconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, develop action plans and lead resolution on accountsAssist department managers in understanding monthly spend and developing monthly weekly and forecastsMaintain strong internal control environment through regular inventory monitoring and verification of policy adherence Support Revenue Department and tax requests as neededSupport Fixed Asset Accounting and Capital Investment requests as neededAssist in resolution of AP issues and facilitate vendor paymentsMonitor and report on key financial metrics to track business performance.Special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other duties as requiredResponsibilities for Internal CandidatesQualifications For Internal CandidatesMUST HAVE Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or related roles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.WE VALUE Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling and data analysis. Experience with SAP.
