Accountant (USD Remote)

Position: Full-Time AccountantLocation: Remote (US Eastern Time Zone – EST)Salary: USD 1500 - 2400🌟 OverviewWe are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic, tech-driven team. This is not a traditional bookkeeping role — you’ll be working closely with AI-powered tools to review, correct, and validate accounting data, ensuring accuracy across reports and datasets.The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You’ll collaborate with both accounting and engineering teams, while reporting to a senior team member.📌 Key ResponsibilitiesReview, correct, and validate accounting outputs generated by AI tools.Perform reconciliations, manual accounting tasks, and error checksValidate bank statements and other financial data, ensuring accuracySupport with preparing and converting reports in Excel and PDF formats.Participate in daily/weekly team stand-ups and communicate task progress effectivelyTest AI chatbots/models to ensure accurate accounting-related responses.Maintain clear documentation of tasks and findings.Take ownership of assignments, delivering accurate results on time.Contribute proactive ideas and improvements to optimize workflows.✅ Qualifications (Must-Haves)3–5 years of experience in accounting, ideally with exposure to month-end closings, reconciliations, and journal entries.Public accounting experience (e.g., at a CPA firm or accounting consultancy) is highly preferred.Alternatively, in-house accounting experience at three or more companies, with evidence of growing scope and responsibility.Proven ability to go beyond AP/AR or billing tasks, contributing to reporting, analysis, or closing processes.Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills, comfortable with formulas and data validation.Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.Clear and effective communication skills in English (C1 level) — written and verbal.Ability to work full-time aligned to U.S. Eastern Time (EST).Personal laptop and stable internet connection.💡 Nice to HaveFamiliarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERPsPrior exposure to AI tools, automation, or data validation workflows.Familiarity with U.S. GAAP or accounting standards in an international environment.Background in financial analysis, reporting, or audit.Proactive, creative, and open-minded mindset.
