Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, analyzing accounting data, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, process-driven, and committed to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reportsPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completenessAnalyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures, providing insights to managementSupport the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsMaintain and improve internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, to ensure accurate financial reportingPrepare supporting documentation for audits and assist auditors with requested informationParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracyResearch and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularitiesAssist in the development and maintenance of financial policies and proceduresQualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or progress toward CPA certification preferredExperience2–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditSolid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooksSkillsStrong analytical and quantitative skills with a high attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis toolsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlinesIntegrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial informationPreferred QualificationsExperience in corporate accounting or a public accounting firmFamiliarity with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsKnowledge of financial modeling and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)What We OfferCompetitive base salary and performance-based incentivesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company contributionPaid time off, holidays, and opportunities for professional growthSupportive and collaborative work environment that values continuous improvement and accuracy in financial operations
