The Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper will support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records, assists with reporting, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivableMaintain and update general ledger entriesProcess invoices, receipts, and expense reportsPrepare and reconcile bank statementsAssist in payroll preparation and employee reimbursementsMonitor and maintain accurate filing of financial documentsSupport in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and company policiesProvide assistance during audits and other financial reviewsPerform other related administrative and accounting tasks as neededBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)At least 12 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related roleProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in workGood understanding of basic accounting principles and practicesStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityEffective communication and interpersonal skills
