With its high-capacity energy solutions, including Powership™, land-based plants and floating LNG infrastructure, Karpowership assists countries and companies in their energy transition processes.We are looking for an “Accounting Assistant Manager” to be assigned to our “Financial Affairs Department” located in “Dubai, UAE.”WHAT DO WE EXPECT?Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or other qualified disciplines of reputable universities. Master’s degree in related department is a plus.Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.Experienced in SAP and other ERP.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.Knowledge about accounting and financial terminology is a must.Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.Strong communication and follow up skills.Team player, analytical, dynamic, result-oriented and proactive, eager to learn.WHAT AWAITS YOU?Ensure bank clearing balances are zero, reconcile DMCC portal, and adjust SAP records.Monitor accounts, create reconciliation reports, and manage invoices (with/without POs).Prepare quarterly reports, P&L summaries, and VAT returns.Review documents for VAT compliance, CbCr, ESR accuracy, and expense validation.Track budgets, forecast depreciation, and manage asset/loan transactions.Record IFRS 16 lease adjustments and provide ad hoc management reports.Oversee team performance, set targets, and identify training needs.Coordinate with departments for contracts, audits, and resource optimization.Facilitate employee evaluations and policy implementation.WHAT DO WE OFFER?Hybrid working opportunityOne day off on your birthdayComprehensive Private Health InsuranceIn line with our "One World" philosophy, we are adding success to our achievements with our colleagues, candidates, and all stakeholders.
