To hire an Accounting Coordinator to join the team in Shanghai.Position responsibilities:Accounts payable:Review Chrome River Invoices and expense reimbursementsSubmit accounts payable transactions into 3ECreate New Vendors in 3EAssist with the processing of weekly payments for Accounts Payable settlementsAccounts receivable:Coordinate with Accounts Receivable department to post receiptsAssist Fapiao managementFinancial services:Assist with time entry amendmentsAssist with reconciliation of corporate card and travel transactionsPrepare bank reconciliationsPrepare journal postings and submit to Senior Finance Manager for review and approval prior to posting from the US Accounting/Finance teamAssist in the maintenance of proper accounting records for external service provider to prepare the local financial reportsAssist in the annual audit and tax return process, which includes preparing documents for the Firm’s third-party service provider and addressing inquiriesAll other duties and special projects as assigned or requiredSkills and experience: Required:After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applicationsHigh degree of proficiency with ExcelAbility to work overtime, as required2+ years accounting-related experience in Accounts PayableFluent in written and spoken English and MandarinPreferred:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in law firms or professional services environmentKnowledge of China taxesOverseas education is an advantageElite 3E and Chrome River experienceCompetencies:Attention to detail with accuracyStrong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with co-workers and vendorsAbility to work independently and under pressureStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutionsAbility to maintain confidentiality Cooley Offers a Competitive Compensation And Excellent Benefits Package.EOE.
