GENERAL DESCRIPTIONManage the company’s finances comprehensively, from financial planning and cost analysis to operational accounting and compliance with current fiscal regulations. As the sole person responsible for the financial area, this role combines strategic duties with daily administrative and accounting tasks, ensuring proper management of financial resources and the economic sustainability of the business. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRecord daily accounting transactions (income, refunds, purchases, sales, banking operations, etc.).Bank account and income reconciliation.Prepare and keep accounting books up to date in accordance with current regulations.Manage electronic invoicing and the filing of accounting documents.Calculate and file periodic tax returns (VAT, income tax, withholdings, etc.)Keep tax obligations up to date and process tax paymentsCoordinate with tax advisors or external auditors when necessaryPrepare and monitor the company’s monthly and annual budgetAnalyse variances between budgeted and actual results and propose optimizations based on financial performanceManage collections and payments (clients, suppliers, services, salaries, etc.), as well as control petty cash and bank transactionsKeep the company’s cash flow forecast updatedPrepare financial reports as requested by managementPrepare and present the company’s annual accounts/financial statementsSupport related administrative processes (contract management, purchasing, inventories if applicable)REQUIREMENTSProficiency in English or Spanish (or both). Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.A Master’s in Finance, MBA, Accounting, Taxation, or a specialization in financial management is desirable.Minimum of 5 years in similar roles, combining hands-on accounting with financial analysis duties.Preferably with experience in small companies where multiple functions were managed.Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP).Practical knowledge of tax and accounting regulations.COMPETENCESStrong autonomy and organizational skills.Problem Solving.AdaptabilityResponsibility.Attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.Good communication skills to report financial information to non-financial stakeholders
