Reporting to the Vice President ofFinance, this position supports daily operations and leads the Financeteam. The ideal candidate demonstrates both technical excellence and acommitment to our organizational values in every aspect of their work.The role requires a strong blend of financial acumen, leadership, and adeep understanding of the unique financial needs of a nonprofithealthcare & education organization dedicated to serving individualswith neurodevelopmental disabilities.As an Accounting Manager, you will:\Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President ofFinance & Finance team to execute the organizations finance goals andstrategies while exhibiting **excellence** through: **Financial Operations Management:** Oversee the organizations coreaccounting activities, ensuring efficient and accurate processing offinancial transactions in alignment with GAAP / FASB ASC 958standards, including maintaining reliable financial systems andsupporting the integrity of day-to-day operations such as payroll,accounts payable/receivable, fund accounting & asset management.***(Excellence)*** **Financial Reporting & Compliance:** Produce timely and accuratefinancial reports & ensure compliance with internal policies, donorrestrictions, and external regulations, including federal grantguidelines. Manage relationships with auditors and other regulatorybodies to support transparency and accountability. ***(Integrity)*** **Budgeting & Financial Planning:** Support strategic financialdecision-making through collaborative budgeting, forecasting, andvariance analysis. Work closely with leadership and program teams toalign financial resources with organizational goals ensuringresponsible stewardship of funds. Understand and apply grantcompliance and donor intention to support responsible stewardshipand accurate financial planning. ***(Service)*** **People Management:** Guide and develop Finance team members toachieve individual and collective goals to ensure opencommunication, provide constructive feedback, and foster asupportive work environment conducive to professional growth. Nonprofit accounting experience is stronglypreferred.
