Summary:We are looking for an International Financial Reporting Specialist for the Finance Team.With this position we offer, A unique role where you will be exposed to different teams and businesses throughout the organization. In this role, you will work to ensure high qualitative financial reporting and support the timely filing of all statutory financial statements of the company. You will work with a global team to comply with accounting regulations across different countries and be an essential stakeholder in different business matters to assess impact on Financial Statements and reporting. Responsibilities:As part of the International Financial Reporting team, you will be responsible for preparing Financial Statements under different accounting standards and supporting the internal and external auditors. You will partner with teams throughout, including Accounting, Internal and External Auditors, Tax and Legal to ensure the integrity of financial statements, applicable financial statement analysis, and other supporting documentation. This position is key to comply with statutory reporting in different countries as well as supporting Parent audit submission for Form 10-Q and 10-KPreparing annual financial statements, identifying differences between GAAP and local accounting standards for legal entities in the APAC regionPreparing supporting schedules for account balances (including but not limited to intercompany, PPE and intangibles), disclosuresCoordinate the internal and external audit processes and track audit progressAssist with the collection, analysis, documentation, and review of financial information underlying disclosures to ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirementsBe able to research and interpret accounting pronouncements and literature while working on management and Statutory reporting. Experience in leases, R&D and ESOP accounting preferred.Keep up to date with new accounting regulations in the various countries and provide updates to the organization on a regular basis.Help reporting manager in executing special projects and workflow process improvements on an ad hoc basis.You will report to the Senior Director - Financial Reporting based in the Mumbai office. Requirements:4 to 6 years of experience gained in auditing and reporting on public accountsChartered Accountancy/CPA Certification is a must. Big 4 or Tier 2 CA firms experience a plus.IFRS, GAAP and local accounting standards technical knowledgeStrong analytical skills and numerate abilityMust be proficient in Excel and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPointStrong communication skills with the proven ability to interact with all levels of staff and management as with third-party service providersDynamic, adaptable and open to changeIdeal candidate will be a self-motivated and deadline-oriented fast-learner, who is an organized, dedicated, hands-on team player with excellent problem-solving skills. “Roll-up-the sleeves” approach required.
