In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and validation of financial statements in accordance with local regulations, tax compliance and optimization, and managing the relationship with auditors and tax authorities.As a local representative of the Group’s Finance function, you will act as a key liaison between corporate finance and external stakeholders, ensuring group processes are implemented and local compliance is maintained. This is a high-impact role ideal for an experienced finance professional with deep knowledge of local accounting and tax practices.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Oversight & Budget ManagementEnsure accurate execution of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Appendix) in line with local accounting, fiscal, and social regulations.Manage and optimize tax compliance and reporting to fulfill local obligations.Strategic Planning & ExecutionRepresent the CFO locally, ensuring adherence to group-wide finance processes and standards.Customer, Client & Stakeholder EngagementServe as the point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities.Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and government bodies.Risk Management & Quality AssuranceEnsure financial compliance with relevant local accounting and tax regulations.Support audit readiness and continuous improvement in financial controls.RequirementsExperience8+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related fieldEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineLanguagesEnglish: MandatoryLocal language proficiency: Required for effective communication with local authorities and stakeholdersSkillsStrong understanding of:Accounting ProcessesLocal Tax RegulationsFinancial ReportingAudit SupportIT ProficiencyMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)Experience with S/4 HANA or similar ERP systemsCore CompetenciesCommunicationTeamwork and CollaborationProblem Solving & Critical ThinkingCustomer FocusBenefitsx
