Location: DublinContract: Full time, Permanent As an Accounts Assistant in Focus Ireland, you will work within the framework of the organisation’s objectives, providing vital support to the Finance Department. This role involves processing weekly and monthly payroll, while liaising with external providers, HR, and staff to resolve payroll queries efficiently and accuratelyWhat You Will DoManage and maintain the Softworks Time Attendance system, including rosters, user access, audits, and new starter setups.Oversee the Continia Staff Expense App and Portal, including user setup, expense verification, and ERR processing.Provide cross-cover for payroll and accounts team members when needed.Assist with monthly payroll reconciliations and other finance-related tasks.Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare standards and report any concerns promptly.Participate in relevant training and development as agreed with the Head of Finance.Complete ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Finance to support departmental goals.Collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain accurate records to ensure smooth financialWhat You Will NeedProven experience of working within a payroll environment, with relevant on the job experience to match JD (minimum 2 years).Excellent administration, organisational and numerical skills.Demonstrable experience in working to tight deadlines.Skilled in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook).Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate. confidentially with a wide variety of people.Ability to innovate and self-motivate in a busy environment, and work on own initiative.IPASS or similar payroll/finance qualification Experience of working in the voluntary sector (Desirable)Experience working with Softworks (Desirable)Experience working with an external payroll bureau (Desirable)Experience of working with Business Central/MS Dynamics/Continia (Desirable)IPASS or similar qualification (Desirable)Experience of public sector/HSE payroll regulations.
