Our highly acclaimed Finance team is growing!We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant with prior experience in accounts payable and a solid understanding of financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing finance experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, assisting with month-end activities, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all payment transactions.Main tasks· Process stock and service invoices accurately and efficiently· Respond to vendor queries in a timely and professional manner· Set up new vendors in NetSuite, ensuring full compliance with company policies· Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly· Maintain the accounts payable mailbox and ensure queries are addressed appropriately· Review and approve employee expense claims in accordance with company guidelines· Assist with weekly payment runs and handle any related queries· Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures· Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as requiredJob Requirements:· Working towards relevant finance qualification – AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent· Strong attention to detail and accuracy· Demonstrated interest in the accounting field, supported by a degree or diploma in finance/accounting or relevant work experience· Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges· Collaborative team player who contributes positively to the overall effectiveness of the finance team· Takes pride in delivering high-quality and reliable work· Experience with NetSuite is an advantage· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including key functions and formulasWhy Adanola?
