Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join a prestigious international law firm client in NYC. This individual will oversee all aspects of the firm’s accounts payable operations across multiple offices, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and client-related disbursements in a high-volume, matter-centric environment. This role requires extensive experience managing AP functions within a professional services or law firm environment and a demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced setting. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for operational management, team leadership, continuous improvement of systems and controls, vendor and relationship management, financial reporting & analysis, policy governance, and risk management. This is a full-time position that is local to NYC – in the office 5 days a week for the first 90 days, then in the office on a more hybrid schedule.Requirements:7 years of Accounts Payable experience, with at least 3–5 years managing an AP team in a large law firm or comparable professional services environmentDemonstrated expertise with matter-centric accounting and client cost pass-throughs, including compliance with outside counsel guidelines and client auditsStrong command of internal controls, audit readiness, and 1099 reporting, with experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environmentsHands-on experience with leading legal finance platforms such as Elite 3E or Aderant, and T&E tools such as Chrome River/Emburse or SAP ConcurExperience leading process improvement and automation initiatives, with change management and stakeholder communication skills suited to a partnership environmentBachelor’s degree, preferably Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldCompensation:$120k-$125k base salary Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, level of experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.Benefits packages for this role include: comprehensive health and well-being benefits, personal and professional development, career growth opportunities.
