In this role, you will ensure that daily deposits related to the residential and small commercial mortgage portfolio are balanced and processed efficiently. This role provides an opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic setting, where your contributions will be recognized and valued.Your ResponsibilitiesYou’ll reconcile mortgage payments daily, including pre-authorized payments, manual payments, cheques, and online bill payments.You’ll process all returned payment items for residential and commercial mortgages.You’ll escalate any issues with mortgage payments and deposits as necessary.You’ll perform accurate data entry into applicable channels and platforms.You’ll recommend and support departmental efficiencies and procedures.Skills and QualificationsPost-secondary degree or diploma required (University degree preferred) in Finance, Business, or a related field.One to two years of related administrative experience in financial services or payment processing preferred.Strong understanding of accounting-related transactions and procedures.Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in processing a high volume of transactions.Solution-focused with the ability to work effectively within established guidelines.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Partner with UsIf you’ve never worked with a staffing agency before, don’t worry, we make it easy.
