Nextt, one of Australia’s leading national NDIS providers, is seeking a new 12-month FTC Accounts Receivable Manager who would like to join a collaborative commercial team here in our Sydney Darlinghurst office.A pivotal role in the business, the Accounts Receivable Manager has several responsibilities including overseeing the companies’ revenue transaction and compliance, managing the weekly invoicing of clients, and proactively communicating with clients to discuss their funding allocation.You’ll join a high performing Commercial Team working collaboratively in our New Darlinghurst Office three days a week.Will manage an experienced team of three.12 Month FTC role, flexible hybrid working.At Nextt, we are passionate about delivering person-centred support. We believe everyone deserves to get more out of life and we are passionate about understanding our customers and supporting them to achieve this.Knowledge And Skills Required For SuccessThe position reports to the Head of Finance and provides an opportunity to have a positive impact on a purpose-driven organisation, adding value to a committed team wanting to make a real difference.ResponsibilitiesWith a broad scope of responsibility, the Accounts Receivable Manager will benefit from experience in a similar role, preferably within the NDIA. Whilst not mandatory, the sector does have its complexities so experience here is a real bonus. Some of your key roles and responsibilities will be:Ensuring revenue is recognised in accordance with latest accounting standards.Regular reporting, and managing weekly invoicing of clients as well as client invoicing liaison and relationship management.Managing the reconciliation and allocation of funds from all payment sources.Proactively communicating with clients to discuss funding allocation.Work with the NDIA, National Disability Insurance Agency, to resolve service booking payment issues and errors, as they arise.Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of development spend and committed spend to support and maintain budgets, providing accurate forecasts.Qualifications and Experience:3 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable and Management role.Degree in Accountancy, or similar.Eligibility for Proda access. Experience using Proda an advantage.Proficient in the use of technology and systems.Excellent attention to detail with a logical and organised way of workingA good work ethic with attention to detailAbility to analyse, report and forecast effectivelyWhat we will offer you:A role with true purpose.
