Cross-Functional Exposure - Payroll and HRFlexible, Part-Time StructureStrategic CollaborationYour new company An exciting opportunity, due to growth, exists for an experienced part-time Payroll & HR Administrator to join a professional services group operating across two businesses under a single payroll entity. This is a pivotal role, offering autonomy, variety, and the chance to drive process excellence in a dynamic environment. Your New Role Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with finance, you will be responsible for: End-to-end payroll processing for 70 employees across 3 awards (primarily 2)Ensuring HR compliance with award interpretation, pay rates, onboarding/offboarding, and employee recordsManaging timesheets, leave, and payroll governanceAdministering STP, superannuation, and year-end processesSupporting recruitment and maintaining Employment Hero (EH) system integrityCollaborating with finance on reconciliations, journals, and audit preparationDriving process efficiency and upholding professional standards in all HR/payroll transactions What You'll Need to Succeed Proven experience in payroll and HR administrationStrong understanding of Australian employment legislation and award complianceProficiency with Employment Hero (preferable, but not essential).Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset What You'll Get in Return Competitive salary packageAutonomy and ownership of the HR/payroll functionSupportive and professional team cultureOpportunity to streamline systems and make a real impact What You Need to do Now If this looks like the right fit for you, please call Moanna Yates on moanna.yates@hays.com.au or Ph: 0404 305 351.
