Due to an international move, the business is seeking a technically sound Group Financial Controller. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving sound financial reporting, implementing process improvements, and fostering a positive team culture both locally and with offshore teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all financial reporting in accordance with global reporting timetables, ensuring compliance with listing requirementsManage and review the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of consolidated financial results.Prepare and review statutory and management financial statementsEnhance the performance and relationships off-shore finance teamLead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.Oversee treasury operations as well as tax compliance and reportingManage audit processes, serving as the key liaison for both external and internal auditsDrive process improvement and automation initiativesMaintain integrity and drive output from SAP and HFMKey Criteria to be considered:CA/CPA qualifiedThis role would suit a Big 4 second mover with a strong technical background looking to for a step up in their career.Tangible examples of implementing process improvement initiativesSAP experience is advantageousExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial informationProven ability to motivate, manage, and develop a finance team.Does this sound like you?
