In this dynamic role, you’ll take charge of billing cycles, payment processing, funding claims, and account enquiries, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant financial operations that directly support vital services.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records relating to client entries, exits, and account updatesOversee client accounts receivable processes, including fee generation, adjustments, and scheduled paymentsSubmit and monitor government funding claims, resolving any discrepancies or errorsReconcile client income, subsidies, and other funding streamsGenerate and issue monthly and annual statementsInvestigate and correct financial discrepancies or anomalies in client accountsProcess a variety of payment types (EFT, credit cards, cheques) and issue receipts as requiredRespond to financial account queries from clients, their representatives, and internal staffSupport the debt management process in collaboration with the collections teamReconciliation of debt amountsMaintain and update funding estimates in the finance systemManage refund processing and ensure supporting documentation is completeProvide reporting and financial insight to managers when requiredDeal with tenant issuesEnsure compliance with relevant financial policies, procedures, and regulationsBenefitsCompetitive salaryCBD locationValues-driven culture with real growth and development opportunitiesReport to a respected, experienced managerJoin a team of high-performing finance professionalsPositive, supportive, and inclusive workplace environmentRequirementsProperty experience is essentialMinimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounts receivable or credit roleProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExceptional accuracy and attention to detail in financial processesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and contribute as part of a teamA professional and empathetic approach to client and stakeholder interactionsKnowledge of government funding frameworks and compliance standards
