About The RoleIn this position, you will deliver efficient administrative support to Building Services and maintain top-quality customer service.Work type: Fixed term contract (14 months)Classification: Band 4, $73,796 + superKey responsibilities include:Deliver proactive and seamless customer service by providing up-to-date advisory services and expertise. Adapt to a fast-paced environment, performing various duties to meet the unit's workload. Efficiently manage enquiries and correspondence in line with regulations and policies. Complete building application lodgements and maintenance of record keeping systems for the unit. Maintain high ethical standards, confidentiality, and strong team relationships across all Council functions. About YouTo be successful in this role you will hold a Certificate IV in Business Administration or at least 3 years of office-based, customer-facing experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines are essential.Essential Experience:Knowledge of and ability to interpret the building related legislation and regulation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation. Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and database management. Ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve.
