The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the management of master treatment schedules including scheduling appointments and arranging for client transportation in support of effective treatment delivery and operations.This position requires a high level of detail-oriented skills and the ability to gain extensive knowledge and understanding of the program and services, treatment philosophy, and clinical orientation.Responsibilities Maintain daily facility census of clients, staff and visitors; reconcile with master calendars, and provide reports to company leadership; Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; draft correspondence; design and maintain filing systems; maintain office logs and sign-in sheets; track and maintain office supply inventory and facility cleanliness; collect and process mail; perform various office/clerical functions; Arrange for client transportation as needed and per policy and procedure; Maintain contact with clients to ensure prompt arrival for groups, individual sessions, and other appointments; Print and compile agency marketing materials and new client welcome package, updating as needed; Maintain contact with clients to ensure prompt arrival for groups, individual sessions, and other appointments; and - Collect and process client urinalysis samples per policy and procedure.Education:Successful completion of a course of study and attainment of an Associate's Degree or higher in psychology, social work, mental health, or therapy-related field is desired. A High School diploma or equivalent is required.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have or be able to obtain, and maintain, current CPR certification by an approved certifying organization; and - Must have a valid California Driver's License (or valid out-of-state license and be able to obtain a California Driver's License), valid automobile insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and meet all requirements of the company's insurance policy.Professional Experience: Minimum of (2) years' experience performing administrative duties, including clerical duties and customer service. Minimum of (1) year experience working with clients in the treatment of mental health and substance abuse and working with diverse populations is desired.
