For over four decades, the theatre has served as a creative home for artists and audiences, championing bold storytelling and the development of original plays.Founded and led by Maria Gobetti, Victory Theatre Center has built a reputation for nurturing playwrights, actors, and directors while creating an intimate and collaborative environment for theatrical exploration. The theatre presents productions in its two performance spaces, The Big Victory Theatre and The Little Victory Theatre, and regularly hosts workshops, readings, and special events that support the growth of new work.As a small but active nonprofit arts organization, VTC operates with a lean team and a passionate community of artists, volunteers, and supporters dedicated to sustaining live theatre and the development of new voices. Located in the heart of the Burbank and North Hollywood theatre community, Victory Theatre Center is part of a vibrant network of artists and companies dedicated to creating and supporting new work in Los Angeles.Position SummaryVictory Theatre Center is seeking a part-time Office Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative operations of our theatre. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit arts administration and supports office management, rental coordination, and production-related administrative tasks.The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a small-team environment while supporting a variety of theatre operations.Compensation: $22/hourSchedule: Part-time, Tuesday through Thursday with flexible daytime hours. This is an on-site position at Victory Theatre Center in Burbank and is not a hybrid or remote role. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be requested during theatre productions or special events.Primary DutiesAdministrative SupportMonitor and respond to general theatre email inquiriesDraft administrative correspondence and communicationsMaintain organized digital and physical filing systemsAssist with invoices and basic bookkeeping tasksPay utility bills and maintain vendor recordsMaintain office supplies and material inventoryRentals CoordinationRespond to rental inquiries and maintain tracking listsAssist with facility tours for potential rentersPrepare rental agreements and related correspondenceSupport communication with rental clientsTheatre Operations SupportAssist with maintaining clean and organized theatre spacesSupport website updates for current productionsManage digital archives for the theatreHelp coordinate volunteers and ushers during productionsSystems & ToolsFamiliarity with or willingness to learn the following systems:Google WorkspaceMicrosoft OfficeOvationTixZeffyQuickBooksConstant ContactBasic website CMS toolsInstagram and Facebook QualificationsPrevious administrative or office experience preferredInterest in theatre, arts administration, or nonprofit workStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently in a small-team environmentDemonstrates initiative, good judgment, and a willingness to go the extra mile when neededRespect for the theatre as a creative and collaborative space and a genuine interest in supporting its successProfessional, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with discretionThe role includes the use of a theatre-provided laptop and phone for administrative communication.
