Job Description

West Fraser Electro/Mechanical Ltd. is a multi-faceted provider of services for and distribution of the critical equipment that supports continuous production industries. We work from a 28,000 square foot facility in Prince George, British Columbia, and offer in-shop and field repairs, maintenance, and technical services, as well as direct sales and replacements of industrial electric motors, generators, and components.We are currently looking for a Administrative Assistant to join our team. What you will be doing:Some of the main responsibilities of the purchaser include:Accounts Receivable & Customer SetupPrepare and submit accurate customer invoices in a timely mannerSet up customer accounts and complete credit-worthiness checks as requiredAccounts Payable & Vendor ManagementCheck, verify and process incoming vendor invoicesMatch vendor invoices to purchase orders and investigate any discrepanciesMaintain vendor files and support vendor communication as neededPayroll & Time Tracking SupportCollect, review, and confirm timesheets, including overtimeTrack employee vacation, sick time, and other leave balances with accuracyGeneral Administrative SupportAssist with credit card expense report submissions and reconciliationsMaintain filing systems to ensure all documentation is organized and accessibleAnswer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries professionally and efficientlyPerform general administrative duties to support office operations and assist other departments as requiredWhat we will give you:$24.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualificationsFull extended Heath & Dental BenefitsFantastic vacation and leave benefitsEducation funding opportunitiesCareer advancement opportunitiesFun team and company-sponsored functionsWhat we need from you:Administrative or accounting support experience is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skillsExperience with accounting software systems (an asset)Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative team player who fosters a positive work environmentAbility to grow a strong company image with customers and vendorsAdvocate a harassment free and safe workplace environmentWest Fraser Electro-Mechanical is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
