($50,000 - $60,000 / year)Profit Sharing: Profit-sharing is available and subject to business resultsBenefitsLife/Accidental Death/Short-Term Disability InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401K Investment with 6% company matchFlexibility with Work From Home/Remote in Local AreaClosing Bonus per HomeRole Summary: The Administrator is responsible for supporting construction projects through effective management of administrative tasks and coordination with various teams to ensure smooth operations. The Administrator is responsible for managing some back-office operations and administrative tasks, including but not limited to permitting and assisting with land purchases.Job ResponsibilitiesManages back-of-house operationsPerforms administrative tasks, including but not limited to permitting and assisting with land purchasesManages month-end duties to assist the president with close-outSupports field staff with municipalities and utility needsCommunicate with administrative and construction staff consistently and regularlyEssential FunctionsStrong organizational skills, both written and verbalThe ability to work independently or as part of a teamMaintains software scheduling daily and updates as requiredPerforms other related duties as assignedMinimum Required Education/Credentials/Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent2-3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in the construction industryWork Ethic, Ability to work independently, and must bring enthusiasm every dayStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesPreferred Education/Credentials/Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in construction administration or project supportExperience with construction-specific software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar project management toolsThe ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Knowledge of construction contracts, submittals, and document control processesFamiliarity with construction scheduling and budgetingExperience in processing invoices and managing project financialsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareWork Environment/Physical RequirementsWork EnvironmentInterpersonal Interaction: High level of communication with team members, clients, and vendorsTravel: Minimal travel may be required for site visits or meetingsHours: Typically works full-time (40) hours with some flexibility for additional hours as neededPhysical DemandsOffice Environment: Primarily works at a desk with regular use of computersMobility: Requires occasional movement around the office and construction sitesLifting: Occasionally lift items such as files or office supplies, typically up to 25 poundsEqual Opportunity EmployerSalary Description$24.04 - $28.85 / hr ($50,000 - $60,000 / year)
