Hone your skills and develop new ones, take on big challenges and grow, through mentorship, collaboration, and empowerment.Thiess is the place to make things happen.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Administrator, Health, Safety & Training to join the Thiess HS&T team at Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex.Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located south-east of Moranbah which commenced mining operations in mid-2023. Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of the mine infrastructure.By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new workforce that is focused on developing a strong performance and safety culture and a culture that values everyone’s contribution equally. You will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.Working a 5/2/4/3 roster and reporting to the Health, Safety & Training Manager, your duties will include:Providing day-to-day administrative support to the HS&T Manager, Coordinators and AdvisorsMaintain relevant Health, Safety, and Training records and reports as directed by the teamLiaise with other departments to ensure the achievement of key safety objectivesAssist the HS&T team with the compilation and presentation of monthly reporting requirements, including data management within the Thiess Safety Management SystemBuild strong working relationships with internal team members and external stakeholdersMaintain the site Training Calendar and assist with scheduling and course bookingsTroubleshoot LMS access and training record issues for employees and contractors, providing guidance on onboarding processes and qualification requirementsUpload and manage training materials, records, and documentation in accordance with Thiess and legislative standards.Assist Training Coordinators with onsite inductions, preparing documentation, recording attendance, and uploading completed induction records into the LMS and SharePoint.About YouAs a successful applicant, you will be a high-achieving team-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment.
