You’ll play a key role in helping clients remain independent in their own homes, supporting their dignity, safety, and quality of life. We have shifts available based on client demand, Monday – Friday, 6am – 6pm.Duties Will IncludeProviding personal care support such as showering, grooming, and personal hygiene Supporting with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and ironingAssisting with shopping, medical appointments, and social outings Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client’s health or behaviour, escalating concerns to ensure safety Delivering care in line with individual Care Plans and maintaining accurate documentation Travelling between client homes within your local service area including Ashfield, Burwood, Haberfield, Five Dock, Concord, and AshburySkills And RequirementsCurrent driver’s licence and reliable car with comprehensive insurance Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field Current First Aid CertificateClear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality careFlexibility in hours and approach, with availability aligned to client needs Ability to review and accurately document care plans Experience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (advantageous)Our BenefitsCompetitive pay rates under our Enterprise Agreement Paid travel time between clients Our 'buddy-up' program is an integral part of our exceptional on boarding process, designed to ensure your success.
