This is an opportunity to shape responsible AI by embedding governance principles into scalable technical solutions, ensuring compliance, transparency, and trust across SAP’s AI portfolio.The Role: As an AI Governance Architect, you will define and implement the technical architecture for SAP’s AI Governance Framework, ensuring alignment with global standards such as the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and NIST RMF. You will architect and optimise a unified AI Governance Platform that spans the full AI lifecycle—from intake and risk assessment to monitoring, compliance tracking, and decommissioning. Collaborating with Development, Business, and Compliance teams, you will embed governance into day-to-day operations, configure platform integrations, define approval workflows, and streamline evidence management. You will also support onboarding, training, and platform adoption, ensuring transparent, auditable, and efficient governance that reinforces SAP’s leadership in responsible and innovative Enterprise AI.What You BringYou are passionate about AI governance and have a proven track record designing and operating responsible AI solutions in complex enterprise environments.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Proven experience architecting governance frameworks and integrating governance platforms into enterprise environments. Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and workflow orchestration. Proven hands-on experience defining AI governance frameworks and configuring and operating AI governance platforms throughout all stages of the AI Lifecycle. Solid background in designing, developing, and operating enterprise-grade AI solutions. In-depth knowledge of key regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and NIST RMF. Additionally, you are an effective communicator and collaborator, able to work across technical and business teams.
