Air Freight Operational Controller & Process Excellence Manager

We are the first choice for companies looking to outsource freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, transport and supply chain management.Position: Air Freight Operational Controller & Process Excellence ManagerLocation: Head Office, Rama 9, BangkokKey Responsibilities: -Lead the development of Air Freight operations plans and budgets, ensuring productivity targets and performance measures are achieved.Provide strategic input to the Head of Air Freight for the development of operations strategy, aligning processes and initiatives with business objectives, global guidelines, and long-term company goals.Provide financial and operational oversight of the Air Freight product, including reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, profitability, RFQ support, Carrier Management, and Internal Tariff Setting, ensuring alignment with Working Capital Management (WCM).Lead the implementation of tight financial controls and standardized operating protocols across the Air Freight area to ensure compliance, consistency, and operational efficiency.Periodically review processes and develop systems to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness, and alignment with company direction and long-term goals.Analyze complex issues, benchmark performance, identify opportunities, and implement best practices for Air Freight operations, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and process excellence.Coordinate planning and forecasting, aligning demand, supply, and capacity to optimize resource utilization, capture cost-saving opportunities, and drive business growth.Track progress of action plans and business initiatives, ensuring timely execution, measurable results, and escalation of critical issues to the Head of Air Freight, CFO, or Regional Management when corrective measures are required.Prepare and review business cases, evaluating cost, benefit, and timelines, while embedding process excellence to optimize workflows and resource allocation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and implement technology and automation solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability.Qualification: -Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.8 - 10 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding Business with Airfreight Background.Excellent stakeholder management, strategic planning, and team-building skills.Proven experience in managing Airfreight projects and solutions is advantageous.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Familiarity with Cargowise One will be advantageousWelcome!
