Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Position SummaryYellowhead Helicopters is currently seeking applications for licensed Helicopter Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME-M), endorsed on BK 117, Bell 212 or Airbus AS350 series, for year-round full-time and seasonal contract positions. These positions would be operationally controlled out of our Prince George, B.C. facility and will require travel to various work locations across Canada including locations in remote Northern B.C.Responsibilities●    Work closely with pilots to identify and resolve maintenance issues ●    Perform progressive and scheduled aircraft inspections ●    Ensure compliance with company maintenance policies and safety procedures ●    Collaborate with a supportive team of engineers and apprentices ●    Reports to newly appointed Director of Maintenance Organization Qualifications●    Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-M license●    Endorsement on company aircraft preferred (training provided for the right candidate)●    Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations●    Ability to follow documented policies and procedures●    Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) with acceptable abstract●    Eligible to work in Canada full-timeHours & Compensation●    Full-time, fixed-term contract, Seasonal●    Annual guarantees for full-time employees of $80,000 to $125,000 - Gross earning potential much higher.Additional Information●    Pre-employment drug and alcohol test required●    Health and dental benefits●    Company matched RRSPAbout the CompanyYellowhead Helicopters is a family owned and operated British Columbia based firm.  Since 1975, YHL has been providing safe and efficient helicopter services to our clients from a base network located throughout British Columbia and Alberta. We are well equipped to be able to mobilize on short notice and support our customers in remote locations across Canada. We serve the Forestry, Mining & Petroleum, Utility, and Tourism industries.  Our diversified fleet and varied flight missions allow for career progression.We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to the principles of employment equity in all communities where we do business.
