Job Description

Execute maintenance on various military aircraft as a Contract Field Team technicianTravel for extended periods working at various locationsTrain on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses, basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasks Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawingsMaintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipmentOperate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assignedPerform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing proceduresMaintain tool control and accountabilityAdhere to company policies and safety programsOther duties as assignedThis position is contingent upon contract award.RequirementsEducation/Training:High School diploma requiredAssociate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferredCurrent Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License requiredExperience 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirementsKnowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF, USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc. SecurityMust be a US citizenAbility to obtain a security clearance may be requiredSuccessful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46, DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC)
