Approximately half an hour drive south of Sydney, in the suburb of Caringbah. The Sutherland Hospital provides a range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.Where You'll Be WorkingYou will be working at The Sutherland Hospital with the Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Department and Southcare Aged and Extended Community Care.We will require the successful candidate to be available to work Thursday’s and Friday’s, with the remaining days and hours negotiable across the week.On a typical day, you will primarily be based at Southcare, working within the Community Physiotherapy Team to support clients in completing their physiotherapy programs. Your responsibilities may include conducting home visits to deliver prescribed exercise programs and functional retraining, transporting and fitting mobility aids and other equipment, and assisting with Community Physiotherapy Exercise Groups. Additionally, you may be called upon to provide support on the inpatient wards or in the rehabilitation unit as needed.You will have access to professional development opportunities, clinical supervision and be supported by the Physiotherapy Team and other Allied Health Assistants at The Sutherland Hospital Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology DepartmentThe BenefitsSalary packaging options that reduce your taxable income and increase your take-home pay!
