Internship Opportunity: Digital Media & Communications InternLocation: AUB Mediterraneo Campus – Pafos, CyprusDuration: 3 monthsDepartment: Office of CommunicationsAbout the OpportunityThe Office of Communications at the American University of Beirut - Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) is offering a hands-on, three-month internship for students and recent graduates passionate about digital media, storytelling, and communications strategy. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Media & Communications Intern, you will: Assist in creating digital content (graphics, video, reels, stories) for social media platforms and the university’s website. Support in managing and scheduling content across various social media channels.

Participate in covering on-campus events and student activities through live social updates and post-event content. Help edit and optimize visual and written content to align with AUB Mediterraneo’s brand guidelines. Research current digital media trends and propose creative ideas to enhance audience engagement. Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking creative, motivated, and digitally savvy individuals with: Strong skills in digital media creation (graphic design, video editing, photography). Interest or experience in digital marketing, including content creation, campaigns, and basic analytics. Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, X, Google Ads) and content scheduling tools.

Good writing and editing skills in English (Greek a plus). Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or equivalent. A collaborative attitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning. EligibilityCurrent students or recent graduates in Communications, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, Journalism, or related fields. Availability to commit for 3 months, on-site at AUB Mediterraneo (Pafos, Cyprus). What You’ll GainPractical experience in digital communication within an academic institution.
