Interested and qualified candidates are, therefore, invited to apply for the subject position, under the TDB Group Volunteer Program.Job SummaryThe Analyst, Asset Management assists the fund management team in various aspects of investor relations, investment analysis, reporting, and operational support. This role provides an entry point into the asset management industry, offering opportunities to develop financial expertise, understanding of investment processes, and client communication skills.ResponsibilitiesThe key roles and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Support investor onboarding and relations.Conduct financial modelling and analysis.Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments.Prepare reports and presentations on fund performance and market commentary.Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings, quarterly updates, and annual reports.Support operations processes related to fund administration, compliance, and documentation.Continuously enhance understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and asset management principles.Qualifications and CompetenciesA master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or related field, with professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent as added advantage.A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm, investment bank and/or cross border commercial lending environment.Commitment and passion for African development.Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, manage dynamic priorities, strong professional independence, unquestionable integrity and able to work under pressure to deliver on strict deadlines with minimal supervision.A results-oriented individual with excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills and client orientation/client centricity.English language proficiency is required.
