Job Description

We’re looking for an Analyst to support policy development and research across capital markets and wholesale financial services. This role works closely with senior stakeholders, regulators, and industry members, contributing to policy positions, regulatory responses, and large cross-cutting projects affecting wholesale and international financial markets.Key Responsibilities• Provide research and policy support across capital markets and wholesale financial services, monitoring political, regulatory, and international developments.• Support advocacy activity by contributing to consultation responses, position papers, briefings, taking minutes, researching notes, and member-facing content.• Assist with the delivery and management of key committees, working groups, and member forums across primary markets, corporate finance, and post-trade topics.• Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, government departments, law firms, and think tanks, to gather insight and support policy development.• Help members navigate evolving regulatory regimes through clear updates, guidance, and written communications.• Organise and support roundtables, events, and discussions with industry participants and policy makers.• Collaborate across internal teams to ensure capital markets activity is reflected in wider policy planning and communications.• Area's of interest - M&A, Private markets, public markets, investments. Location: London City – hybrid working, 3 days per week in the officeSalary: £30,000k to £35,000 - Maybe up to £40,000.
