Real Estate Advisory Group - AnalystJoin Kroll's Global Real Estate team and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Real Estate consulting. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to contribute as new joiners in our Real Estate Advisory Group.Our Real Estate Advisory Group provides comprehensive real estate valuation and consulting services for acquisitions, dispositions, financial reporting, tax, financing, insurance and other strategic planning purposes – a core component of Kroll’s business operations. Our services help owners and investors maximize property values. Our Analysts receive world-class training, outstanding benefits, strong career progression, competitive salaries and relocation assistance when applicable.ResponsibilitiesMaterial contribution for named listing on the certification page of worked appraisalsWork with a State Licensed professional (Appraisal Supervisor) through a Trainee License to full state license status Perform independent in-depth industry, market and competitor researchPerform local, national and international real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities and REITs with minimal oversight, using all accepted and relevant approaches and theoryDesign financial models for discounted cash flow analysis, market approach, and cost approach valuation methodsIndependently compile and analyze financial, tax, insurance, and other data pertinent to client engagements (through direct interaction with clients and other business partners, including personal & telephone interviews with brokers and property managers)Remain abreast of industry surveys and benchmarks and economic and demographic trendsProvide advice to Company stakeholders and clients by preparing and presenting the results of above-referenced analyses in a clear and concise manner, verbally and/or orallyRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Management (with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate), Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Real Estate), Economics (with a concentration in Finance or Real Estate) from an accredited college or university, plus Real Estate work experience, or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the aforementioned fields of studyMajor GPA of 3.0 or higherProficient in Argus and ExcelDemonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated interest in varied and intellectually challenging work Attention to detail, and ability to manage time and workflowDemonstrated ability to independently prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment with limited oversight Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments independently and contribute meaningfully to team and client objectives Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future (this includes students that are currently on a student visa) About KrollJoin the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
