CVs SHOULD BE SAVED IN APPLICANT’S NAMEDivision: Risk & ComplianceDepartment: Enterprise Risk ManagementLocation: AccraPosition: Analyst, Risk-Commercial (EBU, Digital & Home)Level: L2Reports to: Manager, RiskJob Summary:Responsible for conducting and evaluating detailed risks within the company. Perform risk assessments/ analysis and/or risk deep dives, and monitoring and tracking remediation across all the commercial business units and areas.In addition, the role will also be accountable for reporting to the business on risk management processes, procedures, and methodologies in line with the risk and Compliance strategy, best practices and offering specialized recommendations, where necessary to the organizationTasksLiaise with divisional Governance champions to ensure a coordinated approach to risk identification and management within the assigned divisions.Assist in ensuring inputs/ for the facilitating Governance Committee Meetings.Ensure inputs are always updated to the Risk Dashboards.Support the facilitation of annual/biannual Business Impact Analysis within the divisions assigned.Assist in performing gap analysis on current risk /issues of critical areas of the business as per integrated plan.Support in the maintenance of Risk Dashboards for executive management.Assist in performing the organization’s ERM Maturity Assessments, as per the Group’s model.Assist in the update and review of Commercial (Marketing, Sales & distribution & Customer Care), Enterprise Business, Digital and Home risk assessments and risk scenario analysisCoordinate annual/bi-annual signing of Management Attestations within the divisions assigned.Assist in companywide Risk Workshops, ensuring involvement of key stakeholders. i.e. Risk Champions, Excom, senior leadership etc.Accountable for reporting to the business on risk management processes, procedures, and methodologies in line with the risk and Compliance strategy, best practices and offering specialized advice /recommendations, where necessary to the organization.Perform risk assessments, risk deep dives and risk scenario analysisContribute to the Companywide Principal Residual Risk Rating Conclusions with the Risk Champions, Excom and and Risk and Compliance counterparts.Contribute to the yearly Risk Management plan aligned to and Risk and Compliance themes and prioritiesSupport on the identification of areas to include in the Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM)Support on identifying and assessing the risks and classifying mitigation controls for each riskEnsure management review and input on resolution of CCM areas Assist to communicate exception reports to managementEnsure continuous reassessment of the agreed controls. A relevant professional qualification in risk management would be a plus.Experience3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in IT/Telecoms/Financial Services. Strong project planning and management, report writing and presentation experienceTraining Risk Management/ Business Continuity/Information Security Management/AnalyticsKnowledge Competencies: Enterprise Risk Management Methodology or ISO Risk Management Standard 31000 Process Management and Maturity modelsBCM methodologies (ISO 22301 Standard) and reviews include incident & crisis management, emergency preparedness, recovery modes/methods, IS Disaster recovery strategies etc.Information Security Risk ManagementCorporate Governance frameworks e.g. King IV.Insurance risk knowledge.Data AnalyticsWorking knowledge of Industry standards of Risk Management (RM), BCM. E.g. ISO 22301, ISO 31000Basic IS infrastructure knowledge advantageousMicrosoft Office suiteGood Report WritingStrong understanding of the business processes applicable to a mobile telecommunications operator.Knowledge of mobile telephony infrastructure and business processes.Strong project planning and management skills Risk trending and risk intelligence.Skills / physical competencies:Ability to manage conflict, accountability, self, and team performance.Innovative, takes initiative, result oriented and develops self consistently.Strong leadership skills, customer centric, and very collaborative.Trustworthy, integrity and ethical in dealings.Ability to focus on priorities and plans manages and monitors work effectively.
