APAC Marketing Project Manager

Job Description

Key AccountabilitiesManage regional projects in line with AdMat Asia strategy and initiative programs. Support OM Head and AMT to lead global/regional projects.Manage project from ideation through launch and first year of sales in the Stage Gate processEstablish and execute clear and robust milestone driven project plans for major innovation projectsSchedule and conduct regular project updates with cross functional teams to review, track and coordinate project activitiesIdentify risks and barriers, work with stakeholders to develop and execute mitigation plans to maximize chance of delivery, escalate issues and propose resolutionsProvide monthly reports on status and progress of major innovation projectsEnsure data in all tools and dashboards related to specific innovation projects are updated and maintainedClosely collaborate with stakeholders of Sales, SM, OM and Technology to ensure projects are adequately resourcedProvide support or input to Stakeholders to facilitate prioritization of projects within the Innovation ProgramLead and support the development and training of other colleagues in the Stage Gate process and project managementAdditional ResponsibilitiesProvide recommendations to position AdMat Asia future portfolio towards an accelerated growth of specialty products.Provide insight and recommendations for organizational or process improvements to accelerate the commercialization of innovationAs needed, present & provide updates and reports regarding the product and project portfolios.SPECIAL FEATURESEnsure that the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines are respected.Key RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical, science or engineering.Experience8+ working experience in the chemical industry, with at least 3+ years of product or project management experiences.Background in marketing, sales, manufacturing, or technical support.Experience and know-how in the aerospace, automotive, power or adhesives market is an assetProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredKnow-how/skillsEffective communication and presentation skills both in Mandarin and English.Solid market analytical thinking with business acumen.Good understanding of chemistry applied in diverse industries. Entrepreneurial minded with a bias for action, sense of urgency, adaptability, and common sense.Ability to view issues from multiple perspectives, and to keep the global picture in focus.Strong leadership and collaboration skills to lead cross-regional teams.Self-starter with ability to effectively analyze multi-regional information and prioritize competing deliverables while meeting deadlines.Hands-on, detail-oriented, highly analytical and organized with excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills.Must possess strong negotiation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Project- and/or product management experience, working across multiple functions.Knowledge of regional issues, goals, and objectives.Ability to develop key relationships, both internal and external.Occasional domestic travel up to 25% of the timeKEY COMPETENCIESBusiness & Result DrivenIndustrial Focus & Customer OrientedEmbrace Change & Devise ProgramTeam CollaborationEffective Communication
