Apparel Product Development Coordinator

Job Overview:The Product Development Coordinator supports the Product Development team by tracking and coordinating development activities from concept through Pre-Production handoff. This role is detail-oriented and fast-paced, focused on keeping calendars, WIP, samples, and materials organized and on schedule.Splits59 is an exciting, growing company, and this role offers hands-on exposure to the full product development process while working closely with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update seasonal PD WIP and tracking documents.Track samples, patterns and sample raw materials throughout the development process.Create, issue and maintain sample fabric, trim and SRS PO’s.Distribute raw materials to vendors. Log, track and distribute incoming and outgoing PD packages.Maintain raw material, sample and seasonal product logs.Create and update seasonal product detail chart.Organize and maintain archives library for past and current seasons. Support the Product Development team with day-to-day coordination and cross-functional communication. Regularly travel to and collaborate with domestic factories and vendors.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Product Development, Fashion, Apparel industry.1-3 years experience in product development or coordination role within apparel. Experience with activewear or performance apparel is a plus.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with PLM/WIP or similar tracking systems. Strong communications skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
