Job Description

Stanbridge University is seeking a dynamic individual with outstanding communication and organizational skills to join our Logistics department as a Janitorial Associate. This position offers a fantastic chance to be a part of a growing and vibrant university community.Essential Functions:Performs general cleaning and dusting in all areas of the buildingMaintains all tile floors using a stripping, waxing, and buffing processMaintains and fills all soap dispensers and towel dispensers in rest rooms, as requiredRemoves trash from offices and classrooms throughout the buildings on a routine basisCleans all bathrooms, as requiredCleans student lounges dailyVacuums, dusts, and keeps a neat appearance in all office areas and classrooms throughout campusQualifications:Must have weekend availability CURRENT NEEDED SCHEDULE : Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.mHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust be able to meet physical requirements: standing, twisting, walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, and ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbsMinimum of one year of janitorial work experienceValid state driver's license$18-$20/hr. Compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity considerations.
