Applications Administrator

We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous Applications Administrator to join a goal-oriented teamQUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:Required: Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fieldPreferred:Certification in ITIL or equivalent Service Management frameworkExperience with SAP, or validated GxP systemsVendor or product-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft, SAP, Sage)Experience needed to deliver the role seamlessly: Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise applications administration or IT systems supportSolid understanding of system administration, access control, and application supportExperience managing incidents, service requests, and change controls in a structured IT environmentFamiliarity with backup, patching, and upgrade processes for business-critical systemsExposure to regulated or validated environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturingPreferred: Experience working within GxP-compliant systems and documentation practicesFamiliarity with cloud-based and hybrid application environmentsKnowledge of data integrity and cyber-security principles in a manufacturing contextKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: Core Technical Delivery:Applications ManagementAdminister and monitor enterprise applications, ensuring system availability and performanceManage application access control, roles, and permissionsPerform system configuration and updates in accordance with change control processesConduct routine health checks and data integrity validationsManage incident and request resolution within agreed SLAsCoordinate application patching, backups, and upgradesSupport validation activities and maintain system documentationEnsure compliance with GxP, data integrity, and cyber-security standardsSupport and Continuous ImprovementProvide second-line user support and escalate technical issues to vendors when necessaryParticipate in testing, validation, and implementation of new system featuresSupport business process improvement through effective system utilisationIdentify automation or optimisation opportunities across applicationsMaintain detailed records of configuration changes and incident resolutionsQuality ManagementEnsure all systems are audit-ready and compliant with GMP and data integrity requirementsParticipate in system qualification, validation, and re-validation activitiesMaintain documentation for deviations, CAPAs, and change controlsPromote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within IT operationsApplication Deadline: 30 November 2025If you do not receive a response from us within three weeks after closing date please understand that your application was not successful.Disclaimer:Dear Applicant, we appreciate your interest in joining our organization.
