The position required collaboration with engineers, medical professionals, contractors and stakeholders to deliver high quality, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare environments.Key OutcomesDelivery of hospitals facilities that prioritize patient safety, comfort, and operational efficiency.Implementation of evidence-based design principles to improve patient recovery and staff productivity.Ensuring all architectural design comply with healthcare regulation.Successful approvals from regulatory bodies and timely acquisition of permits.Effective coordination with stakeholders to meet project deadlines.Budget optimization without compromising on quality, safety, and sustainability.Integration of green building principles and energy efficiency hospital designs.Implementation of smart healthcare technologies for improved facility management.Effective communication and coordination with medial professionals to align architectural plans with healthcare needs.Smooth integration of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and medical equipment within architectural layouts.Designing hospitals spaces that minimize infection risks through proper airflow, material selection, and spatial planning.Incorporating emergency response and disaster preparedness features into the design.Positive feedback from hospital management, medical staff, and patients on facility functionality and design.Strengthened institutional reputation for delivering world class healthcare infrastructure.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of hospital construction projects from concept to completion.Ensure hospital designs align with healthcare regulation, patient care requirements, and operational efficiency.Develop master plans, space programming, and functional layouts that optimize workflow, safety and accessibility.Ensure designs comply with national and international healthcare standards.Integrate infection control measures, fire safety, and emergency response protocols in hospital architecture.Obtain necessary approvals and permits from regulatory authorities and accreditation bodies.Oversee the architectural aspects of hospitals construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.Work closely with project manager, engineers, and medical professionals to coordinate hospital infrastructure needs.Address construction challenges, design modifications, and site-related issues efficiently.Develop cost-effective design solutions while maintaining high quality standards.Collaborate with quantity surveyors to manage architectural budgets and optimize resource allocation.Review and approval materials, finishes, and construction methods to ensure financial efficiency.Implement energy efficiency, environmentally sustainable, and future-proof hospital infrastructure.Integrate smart healthcare technologies for improved facility management and patient care.Ensure hospital designs support long term operational efficiency and adaptability to future medical advancements.Act as a key liaison between hospital executives, medical professionals, engineers, and contractors.Conduct design presentation, project updates, and stakeholder meeting to ensure alignment with project goals.Identify and mitigate architectural risk related to hospital functionality, construction challenges, and patient safety.Implement quality assurance measures to ensure architectural designs meet industry best practices.Conduct site inspection to verify that construction adheres to architectural plans and specification. Selection CriteriaEssentialA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, specialization in healthcare architecture preferred.3 years’ experience in architectural design in hospitals or healthcare facility construction.Proficiency AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and healthcare specific design software.Familiarity with hospital planning guidelines, infection control, and medical facility requirements.Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex healthcare projects.Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills for managing teams and stakeholders
