Architect Engineer (Building Projects)

Role Overview:We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect Engineer (Building Projects) with proven experience in the design, technical planning, and execution of building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, detailed engineering designs, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring smooth implementation on site. Knowledge of UAE local authority regulations and sustainable building practices is essential.Key Responsibilities:Lead the architectural and engineering design process for building projects from concept to completion.Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural and structural designs in line with client requirements.Coordinate with MEP, structural, interior design, and landscape teams to ensure integrated project delivery.Prepare presentations, drawings, and visualizations for client meetings and approvals.Ensure compliance with UAE municipal codes, building regulations, and submission procedures (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DDA, ADM).Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent is maintained.Review contractor/shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.Provide solutions to design or engineering-related issues during construction phases.Participate in value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and aesthetics.Stay updated on architectural and engineering trends, materials, technologies, and innovations relevant to the UAE market.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.Minimum 5 years of experience in building design and engineering projects, with at least 3 years in UAE residential or commercial buildings.Strong portfolio demonstrating building design and engineering expertise in the GCC.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling software (3DMax, SketchUp, Lumion), Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or other emirates).Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.UAE driving license is a plus.Experience with design-build projects or developer-led building schemes is preferred.Interested?
