Architectural Designer

We're looking for an experienced Architectural Designer or Technician to join a supportive and collaborative team delivering high-quality residential projects across New Zealand.You'll be confident working across both design and drawings, bringing strong technical ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of how thoughtful design translates into buildable, quality homes.What You'll Be DoingPreparing and delivering detailed architectural design and working drawings in RevitEnsuring designs meet compliance, consent, and NZ building code requirementsProducing accurate and buildable working drawings within set timeframesCollaborating closely with your team to maintain high standards and deliver great outcomes for clientsSupporting internal review processes and contributing to a positive, high-performing design environmentWhat you'll bring:Proven experience in residential design and preparation of working drawings using RevitA relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture or DesignSound knowledge of NZS 3604 and the NZ Building CodeA strong eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality workExcellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamAn LBP qualification and/or knowledge of energy efficiency standards would be an advantageThis role will suit someone who enjoys working on residential projects from concept through to documentation, thrives on collaboration, fast pace and takes pride in contributing to well-designed, buildable homes.You'll be joining a people-focused business with a strong pipeline of residential work, offering a salary of $65K - $80K, along with benefits including health insurance and additional leave entitlements.If you're ready to step into an exciting role with independence, impact, and variety across residential design, apply now with your CV and portfolio.Please reach out to Claire Smith on claire@archwayrecruitment.com or call 021 765 535 for a confidential discussion.
